First press Track mono. Pete payed me another visit today with this little beauty that I'm listening to now. I do like the personal service.  He also brought around a Downliners Sect LP, but I'm going to think about this one.

That's a good way of putting it Graham. He also left it with me to listen properly before we negotiate a price. I'll probably pay him when he brings some more around next Tuesday. This is a safe time when SWMBO is playing golf. 

The local S/H shop has a copy in thats totally wrecked and he still wants £50 for it.

I've got a totally wrecked copy of this also (I bought it on the day it came out. From Woolworths. And played it incessantly for a very long time). But it's not for sale!

I guess I was too young, and broke, the first time around Tony.  This one is in very nice condition. Remind me to play it when you come here next month.

I've placed it on the list Steve! I'd bring along my copy but I wouldn't like to jeopardise your Kandid's stylus.

 

Well Pete may not be in the market anymore but he came across this rare Columbia first press and thought I may want it. He brought it around to my house and this enabled me to clean the LP and play it before negotiating a price.

Yes. Now the market has closed and the new one is unsuitable Pete brings around LPs I might be interested in. Suits me nicely.

Monster Magnet - Milking The Stars

Just realised I've bought 60 in the last month . 40 of them 12" singles . The hidden cost of upgrading to a Lingo !

Analogue Productions (AAPJ 268-45).  Don't have a lot of their 2-record 45rpm reissues, but the ones I do own sound great. And this one could be the best yet.  A great trio caught on a hot night. Perfectly recorded, this is one of those "you are there" experiences!

Soused - Scott Walker & Sunn 0))) on vinyl. Fortunately (LP12 not functioning at present) I got a CD as well, so at least I can listen to it...
