On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
The very first Old Crow Medicine Show album from 2000
Suburban Dirts
An early Vance Joy recording.
Bit of rock before dinner.
Playing on Vinyl on London Records 1967 - Superb Blues from John Mayall - The Death of JB lenoir is so classic
David Fray and friends in original or borrowed works transcribed by (?) Bach for two or more harpsichords. Fun recording, in warm and spacious sound. It's great to have a new high profile recording of these works played on modern grands.
Cheers
EJ
CD, 2016. Some more pop/rock.
Joe Bonamassa - Blues of Desperation.
Mo' blues from the riffmeister in chief ................ LOUD!!!!
(1982)
Daylight Again
Some lovely sounding, well recorded Crosby, Stills & Nash to ease the evening along.

Can we all chip in. She obviously can't afford new buttons for her blouse.
I really don't think that's funny at all. Others can hardly afford to buy clothes!
Playing on Vinyl - Nice enough Tangerine Dream album from 1981
1973 - US pressing...
Flora Purim - Butterfly Dreams...

Steve,
Great hearing it again.
Kiew Mission is my favourite especially with the vocal.
Wishing you a good week
Cheers Ian

I've been playing this quite a lot in recent months, so my apologies (if they are needed) for posting up this fine Crosby, Stills & Nash album once again.

Thank you for the recommendation, Bob. I have always admired Flora's work and she has a CV to put a lot of the so called modern jazz singers in the shade. Her collaborations with Chick Corea, Santana, Gillespie, Evans, her husband Airto and even Grateful Dead are proof of her diverse and immense contribution to modern jazz/fusion.
Cheers,
Tony
Santana - Barboletta, I was reminded of this after the mention of Flora Purim earlier.

Riff laden blues / rock from these good ole' Louisiana boys ................ erm, ................. LOUD!!!
Reminds me to dig out some of their albums as I haven't played them in awhile.
Your fault Dave. Johnny Mastro & Mam's Boys
This is from 2001. If memory serves me well I think it was their first album.
