Now playing........

Another artist who has reached the age of 70 and still has the talent and voice to be releasing an album. She is sounding mighty fine!
Santana - 111.

And Nothing Hurt
I'm late catching up with Spiritualized's latest and this second playing confirms to me that he has nailed it again, back on great form with this one.
Playing on Vinyl on Excello Records - A fine Best of Slim Harpo Compilation
September 2010, NYC - Released on Nonesuch, Produced by Judith Sherman
Can your system handle these rhythms?
Hazeldine- How Bees Fly. This is on cd, on Glitterhouse from 1993.
Excellent music that I have not played in years.
(2012)
Calexico - Spiritoso
Playing this because it caught my eye being close to the Spiritualized I had been searching for earlier. It was recorded live in 2012 with two different orchestras the Radio Symphonieorchester Wien and the Deutsche Filmorchester Berlin, featuring various hits and selected tracks from the band's latest studio album (at the time) Algiers. I've always enjoyed it when rock meets a classical symphony orchestra and it certainly works well here for Calexico.
Enrico Pieranunzi - Alone together
- Bass – Hein Van De Geyn
- Drums – Joe LaBarbera
- Guitar – Philip Catherine
- Piano – Enrico Pieranunzi
- Trumpet – Eric Vloeimans (tracks: 3, 7, 10)
Emerson ,Lake & Palmer, a brilliant debut, I am being drawn to Carl Palmer's drumming tonight.
Big band jazz with a strong world/ethnic flavour. On CD.
One of my all time favourite LPs
Ferry - Dylanesque
A great interpreter, if that's the right word, of Dylan's songs. Somehow Ferry makes them roll.
