Now playing...................
Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour
Streaming on NAS.......... a recent purchase and taking out for a spin, Kacey is sounding mighty sweet, wonderful vocals, lyrics and music.
Fell in love with Kacey when I saw her perform on the NPR Tiny Desk, which can be seen here: Kasey Musgraves - August 2015. Worth the time to listen to this 23 minute set.
Barney Wilen Quartet - New York romance
- Bass – Ira Coleman
- Drums – Lewis Nash
- Piano – Kenny Barron
- Soprano Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone – Barney Wilen
Nice disk
Saturn's Child: a duet with Frank Kimbrough on piano, Joe Locke on vibes.

enjoy/ken
Absolutely no idea. I know many people like it, but I just cannot seem to connect with this album, despite many attempts.
Not something I would normally listen to - but really enjoying it - nice vocals !
Jeroen20 posted:Bill Evans - The Brilliant.
Recording of concerts the Bill Evans trio gave on August 31th and September 7th 1980 (Bill Evans would pass away on September 15th).
BILL EVANS - piano
MARC JOHNSON - bass
JOE LABARBERA - drums
I noticed Jeroen's choice and thought I'd join with another taken from the same dates. Principally ballads on this disc.
Tord Gustavsen Trio - Changing Places
Sublime. The radio was too much.
Cheers Dave Marshall - I Made a point of taking this Compact Disc into work - Wow ! great hearing it again 1991 was a fine year for music and the then Underground rave scene
Mark Knopfler - Down The Road Wherever, second play of the new album and positive so far.Nice to see a larger number of uptempo songs than of late.
Rush - Grace Under Pressure - CD
After further speaker tweaks to the toe (not much now on my Sopra 2s with the right more than left), this is sounding really magical with sounds filling the room. Not on the list of top Rush favourites here of late, but now on mine.

French Rooster posted:i like it too, as also the dynamite wonderful tune. But the sound of this last Ese is a bit average. A bit sad....
[@mention:56335183628232089] - that is disappointing to hear.
