On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Fairport Convention - Live Convention - vinyl 1974 Island Records
Bought for £4.99 from Oxfam yesterday. They had The History of ... for £18, which was my introduction many years ago, and one of my favourite LPs. There are some different arrangements of favourites.
Most expensive LP in the shop was £175 for a Rolling Stones LP - I wonder if the executors knew what the were giving away and there was lots of expensive LPs there.

Let's Hang Out - J.J. Johnson - recorded 1992
J.J. Johnson (tr), Terence Blanchard (t), Ralph Moore, Jimmy Heath (s), Renee Rosnes, Stanley Cowell (p), Rufus Reid (b), Lewis Nash, Victor Lewis (d)
Some nice tunes !

Remastered in Vinyl IV.
Specifically the 'covers' album you can't buy separately.
Have also been listening to Aerial this morning, Rolf Harris has disappeared, replaced (I believe) by Kate's son.
The xx - Coexist
I played this superb album late one night earlier this week. Sounding brilliant here as we head into the bright lights of the weekend...
One of very few pop LPs I bought in the late 80s/90s
Still like it !
(1982)
Peter Gabriel IV
Having caught a hint of PG on Radio Paradise when he was guesting with the Afro Celt Sound System, I have had to drag myself away from the radio station who have been making happy choices for me all afternoon and play one of my favourite Gabriel albums.
Chet Atkins - Relaxing with Chet - vinyl
Only £2.99 from Oxfam and sounding amazing.
