What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Ian Siegal - All The Rage.
Ian is without doubt one of the best UK blues singer / guitarists, and here he is with a top class band on his current release.
Better still, it's available for the next few days on the Nugene Records website at way less than half price, at under five squid.
Why wouldn't you?
Now playing......
Kate Bush - The Sensual World
Streaming on TIDAL........... continuing on with Kate after listening to a couple of her albums yesterday, sounding mighty fine!
George Adams / Don Pullen quartet - City gates
Great post bop jazz.
- Bass – Cameron Brown
- Drums – Dannie Richmond
- Piano – Don Pullen

Possibly the Floyd's most underrated album. Here it is on a lovely 1978 Japanese reissue, complete with gatefold sleeve, insert and obi.
Enrico Pieranunzi - Plays the music of Wayne Shorter

- Drums – Hans Van Oosterhout
- Piano – Enrico Pieranunzi
Before ..
The live sound could have been better...
Fine delicate album...
Goldfrapp - Supernature - CD
Sounding very very exciting. Just love their music.

One of my favourite Mary Black albums. It is delightfully delicate and never fails to please.

If that’s the ‘remaster’ it’s a crime against humanity compared to the first press. Brilliant album though!

A Mary Black album that I haven't played for ages. The opening song, Summer Sent You, is particularly lovely.
This is such a beautiful album never get tired of hearing it.
Wheeler/ Konitz/ Holland/ Frisell - Angel Song
This has been a really slow grower for me. The key has been turning the wick up a bit, as for a lot of ECM stuff.

Thanks, PCD. Following your post, I've just ordered that.
Very good sounding, makes me almost jealous of the guys having the direct cut Vinyl....

How so? I confess I've not really given the HD remaster download for Qobuz as proper listen yet.
This album was my Kate 'epiphany' and had me rapidly buying the back catalogue, I knew the singles well, not the earlier albums.
I always felt the recording was a bit processed/digital, and something of its time, but interested to hear what you think is wrong with the remaster.
I certainly feel the other Part I albums have benefited a little sonically, though still not sure if I prefer my vinyl copies.
Vinyl released 1977 - Fine album, excellent band. ????
