Will do. I have a small sample of Frances Black on two compilation albums: A Woman's Heart 1 and 2, so I know I like her voice. I strongly suspect I'm going to like her album.
Herbert von Karajan - Beethoven No 3 (Eroica) - CD
Just being blown away by this quite literally as there is so much power in this music. All I did was move the speakers a bit a few days ago. The sound stage is really good and the music fills the room at 8.30 on the volume control.
I sure there are better versions but so what.

The Trio Wanderer at their best in Dvorak

Going a bit throug( my newly bought Genesis collection...
Quite a difference between the early albums and the later more poppy albums...
In the genre an insanely good album...
Switched back to quite different music, a kind of groove album...
Nice to end the evening with Al...
Lisa O’Neill - Pothole In The Sky - Heard the track - 'Planets' tonight. Wonderful singer and interesting arrangements. New album just released as well.

38 years ago today. Released commercially as a soundboard/audience matrix recording.
Norah Jones - Breaks
Now playing.................
Ketil Bjornstad - A passion for John Donne
Ketil Bjørnstad (piano), Håkon Kornstad (tenor saxophone, flute, voice), Birger Mistereggen (percussion) and the Oslo Chamber Choir directed by: Håkon Daniel Nystedt
Streaming on NAS......... Perhaps not for everyone, but I enjoy and appreciate his 'Passion' for John Donne's poetry and composing music to support the verse. Wonderful presentation of the poetry wrapped in music and the voice(s) of Håkon and members of the choir are fantastic!
Vinyl reissue originally released 1964 - Excellent album to start a very wet Liverpool day off. ????

What a dilemma! Bill wins, but I'll try to fit Stan in sometime over the weekend.
Released 2006 - Recommended listen. ????
Playing on 180g Vinyl - Soothing Vivaldi to cook breakfast on this rainy UK morning
Vinyl released 1993 - A far cry from the alt-country sounds of Lone Justice. Great album ????
Sandy Denny - Sandy - CD
After Live Convention yesterday on vinyl, it had to be this and how good it sounds!

I’m really enjoying this new acquisition. We are seeing the wonderful Alina Ibragimova, with The Chiaroscuro Quarted next week - very exciting.
