What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Tidal. Natalie Merchant - Leave Your Sleep
Listening to Jeff Tweedy’s - Warm on vinyl. It’s really mellow and sounds rather good too
Chunky posted:This album has been recommended a lot on this thread, by the likes of Ewemon, Nigelb and Eoink. Will Hoge - My American Dream. Perhaps more of a rock album than I was expecting - very enjoyable.
Played this twice today, the lyrics! Honestly, listen to "Thoughts & Prayers". Scathing, cut to the bone, and he's taking no prisoners on this release.
I post this again; just a really enjoyable recording:
Rickie Lee Jones. The Magazine. On original vinyl from 1984. A splendid album that passed me by in my youth. Happy I can now appreciate its virtues. Fantastic dynamic range in the recordings.

Ultimate Performer...????
Saw him on his first UK tour with about 100 people in the room and then again with Tom Petty as the support act. Petty just blew him off the stage. He had started using the trampoline.
I seen him in 85’ at the Apollo Manchester using his tramp great gig. He performed it on tv on The Tube. Have a look below
I love the guitar solo on 'Black Books' which I know from the Sopranos Peppers and Eggs soundtrack
Amy Winehouse. Back To Black. On an early vinyl pressing from 2006. There are breweries, distilleries, and wineries. Then there are the winehouses. Great styling and groove to the music. What ever you want to call this genre, I enjoy this album.
David Gilmour. Rattle That Lock. On vinyl from 2015. I remember much vitriol on this forum towards this album upon its release (silly people). I have all of Gilmour's solo LPs and enjoy each. The more I play this one the more I think it is his most accomplished.

Hated that tramp with a vengenace. I remember he was a bit miffed at the gig I was at because Petty got 3 encores and he got 1.
Martin Helmchen: Schubert 'Forellen Quintet'
Shame on me for not playing this for so long.
A few trax off the up and coming Rival Sons album due 25th Jan (I think) next year.
Perfect for an early Sunday morning, cd rip
Great...
Shaving mirror version originally released 1956 - This was Brubeck's first solo piano album and was originally issued as Columbia CL 878. It was recorded in two days at Brubeck's house. Fine Sunday morning relaxing album. ????
The Greatest Showman - Reimagined
Great stuff for a Sunday morning and Pink's version of A Million Dreams is spine tingling.
