The Animals - Retrospective
It's been while since I've listen to these boys and this is a decent sounding nicely put together collection of some of their best tracks and singles. Yet another fine Brit' band who featured heavily in the charts and in grey and white on the telly from the mid to late sixties...
Wayne Shorter - Juju
A great one from Wayne Shorter.
- Bass – Reginald Workman
- Drums – Elvin Jones
- Piano – McCoy Tyner
- Tenor Saxophone, Written-By – Wayne Shorter
Listening to the Erick Labson remastered CD. Not everyone prefers the Labson remasters, however, this one is sounding quite amazing right now. One of my desert island recordings!
Steely Dan - Aja
Old comforts, on vinyl.
Started earlier with this one. A very talented guy, who tends to play together with some great musicians - and producing interesting music, can be found in high res on Bandcamp....
A solid jazz album, while some partly known music, not sounding like the. 1000 of others...
Was mentioned on multiple best off lists, so had to have a listen. Requires some serious listening, but yes quite a good and refreshing album...
