What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Last one of the evening...
Tidal. Grace Carter - Why Her Not Me
Mono
My last for the evening
Tidal. Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree (tempted by the many members of the forum listening to this album in the last time)
Tidal. Sannie Fox - My Soul Get Stranger
Now playing..........
Kandance Springs - Indigo
Streaming on NAS.......... arriving home and thought some of the sweet music of Kandance and friends would be a nice lift, she is hitting the spot, an album that grows better with each spin!
Eddie Henderson - Be Cool
Personnel: Eddie Henderson: trumpet; Donald Harrison: saxophone; Kenny Barron: piano; Essiet Essiet: bass; Mike Clark: drums
An old Mike Plume album from 2013 entitled Red and White Blues. It isn't a blues album by the way.
Lynne Arriale: Come Together. Soulful piano. Some good tune choices too - like the Beatles and a reworking of Loch Lomond.
Emily Remler - Take Two
Having enjoyed Firefly last evening I revisited it this morning and now following through with her second album as leader. Pictured on the sleeve again with her ES330 to which she had PAF humbuckers fitted. This guitar has been almost destroyed in a fire. There's a crowd funding campaign trying to raise funds to have it restored.
Emily Remler - Transitions
Another superb album from the much missed Emily Remler. I think this was her third as leader. If you're interested in her music there is a brilliant website called allthingsemily.com which has been put together by Lu Enterline, a very dedicated fan.
Steve Forbert - Jackrabbit Slim
Cheery tunes for fiftysomething blokes. On vinyl.
Emily Remler - Catwalk
Two-thirds of the way through her output as a leader. I'm really enjoying rediscovering her work this morning. Emily Remler is probably the artist I most wish I'd been aware of when she was with us. Reading about her, studying her instructional DVDs, watching her many video clips and exploring the AllthingsEmily website and, of course, listening to her released recordings just adds to the desire to have seen her. And to the disappointment.
Playing on Compact Disc on Naxos - Charming Vivaldi Cello Concerto to strat the working day.
On CD. Feat first!
