On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Emily Remler - East to Wes
Tbis album contains her excellent version of Softly as in a Morning Sunrise, which has been accurately transcribed by Mike Outram on the AllthingsEmily website for the guitar players here.
A very nice album with Grant Green...
Aretha on mono vinyl.
From the (newly-acquired Atlantic box set).
Playing on original Cassette - Fabulous - The tracks never lose their shine
Kevin-W posted:On CD. Feat first!
IMHO opinion THE best Little Feat album.
The first Ryan McGarvey album. The first track on the album gives you an idea of what he is like live.
Playing on original Cassette - One of those albums with so many hit singles like Telephone Line - Livin' Thing - Rockeria.A real purple patch for them.
Europe
Wings Of Tomorrow - Qobuz Studio
Great heavy metal from Sweden.
Edward
Emily Remler - This is Me
Released posthumously, this album marks what could have been a significant change in direction away from the bebop / hard bop of her preceding albums. On this she even explored guitar synthesiser and produced an album much more in the style of Pat Metheny. It's still a thoroughly enjoyable album.
Inspired by Kevin-W
Warren Bernhardt - "Hands 0n" (1990)
Wayne Shorter - Speak no evil
Great music with an excellent line up!

Playing on Casseete on TDK D C90 - A good restrospective of ex Boxtops frontman Alex Chilton solo work and a few Live tracks.
DSD stereo straight to analogue, via SACD. Simply majestic.
Dusty in Memphis - CD
Sounding beautiful and intimate after replacing the Powerline Lite with a much better power cord.
Phil
Warren Bernhardt - "Heat 0f The Moment" (1989)
Tord Gustavsen Trio - The Other Side
Recalling seeing them with HH in my town. Sounding fantastic on vinyl. (Oh, did I say, I've got a new cartridge )

John Lennon - Imagine
I was reminded by a tweet from Yoko Ono that there's only 11 days left in which to download and watch the Above Us Only Sky video on All4. So it is downloaded.
