On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
And some more of Ms Merchant. Her music seems rather addictive...
A fitting continuation...
Another great one fitting the row...
Blimey, this is amazing.
Inspired by Mike's post I will continue the Ms Merchant love in
10,000 Maniacs - MTV Unplugged. Lovely.
Corelli and viola da gamba before sundown:
Playing on 180 g Vinyl - Fancied some prog and went for some Genesis with this Japanese import compilation from 1978.Covers tracks from every album from Trespass to And Then There Where Three. It also contains a nice photo booklet.

Never a bad time to play that classic. Must dig out LZ1 again soon. It's about time I had another Led Zeppelin fest

Well, TC, that certainly spans the band's progressive era, although some would argue that And Then There Were Three was stretching the term 'progressive' a bit. I quite like it though, but nothing later.

Then I'd recommend Blind Man's Zoo, which is somewhat darker.
I’d suggest In My Tribe.
The only way out is to buy them all!

Thanks, Nigel. And thanks to CliveB. I'll add both to my list. Happily CDs are reasonably priced these days, especially if buying used.
M
Vinyl released 1971 - Not much to add really. ????
Enjoy them all! She's been one of my favourite artists for about 30 years. She only plays rarely in the UK these days, but she is an excellent live performer, so if you ever get the chance to see her..........
Always had a soft spot for this 1985 vinyl. ????
I was 12 when this was released. It doesn’t get aired much, but H is at her French class Christmas meal, so why not. 45 on the 272 is pretty loud.
Sona Jobarteh “Fasiya”
Multi-instrumentalist & singer from the Gambia.
Tidal. Mitsuki - Be The Cowboy
Peter Case - The man with the blue postmodern fragmented neo-traditionalist guitar
A lot more than a snappy title. On vinyl.
Blue Guitar is a great album. We’re hoping to book him for WemsFest later this year. You must come.
First play of this charity shop purchase from this morning
Johnny Hodges - Jazz Masters 35, a new addition to my collection of excellent Verve comps.
