Stanley Clarke And George Duke - The Clarke / Duke Project (The first one)

Funkier than a very funky thang.

Oh how I love this album and it takes me back to my Jazz-funk loving yoof, but I am sure many will dismiss it as not worthy. These boys simply gelled so well whenever they collaborated.

It would seem that my new toy (552) is more than prepared to 'get down' and funk! Love it.

Just fancied something from Kate what with her new remasters and so on... this one is from an original fine sounding original EMI label CD.

My Baby - MOUNAIKI ~ By the Bright of Night. 24-bit/44.1khz HD download.

Escaping the cultural Chernobyl that is the Strictly Come Dancing final, time for a few albums.

An interesting mix of blues infused dance (yes really!) and to me it really works. A late but worthy contender for one of my fav albums of the year. Sounds really good too.

Hank Mobley - A caddy for daddy

Great jazz.

(2011)

50 Words for Snow

Rather cliché to be playing this one from the Bush but given that there is a mixture of snow and freezing rain that's falling and having just got back from a very short 10 minute dog walk in  the freezing rain with slush, snow and ice underfoot it seemed the right sort of Kate to follow on with. An album that divides Bush fans but I like it a lot.

John Grant - Love Is Magic. 24bit/96khz HD download.

First play and have high hopes for the latest from Mr. G. If the track he performed on Jools Holland  is representative then all should be just fine.
