Streaming on TIDAL....... a mention from TED_P earlier today had me place this in the TIDAL queue and after running a few errands I am kicking off the noon hour with Kate! ........sounding mighty fine.........
Vinyl released 1983 - Poetic, surreal, dark, atmospheric, male vocals, avant-garde, passionate, alcohol, urban, eclectic, humorous, raw, sombre, nocturnal, bittersweet, quirky, playful, lonely, ominous... Great album. ????
Not the most assuring faces, as Debs had noticed, but the music recommended by our friend Max is just delicious:

Streaming on NAS............ another 2018 release from this past June, always enjoy the Dave Mathews Band's music and have been fortunate to see them a few times over the years! ........My daughter introduced me to Dave's music in the early 90's. A turning point when her interests where beginning to be shaped by friends and class mates besides the family and music has always been a common point of interest between us. ........Dave and friends are sounding mighty sweet this afternoon!

Streaming on TIDAL............. a mention from EJS earlier today came to mind when my wife asked me to put on some Christmas music. Wonderful vocals, orchestral arrangements with accompanying choir is fitting the bill for a touch of holiday music this afternoon before heading out for a work related holiday function this evening.

Rather cliché to be playing this one from the Bush but given that there is a mixture of snow and freezing rain that's falling and having just got back from a very short 10 minute dog walk in the freezing rain with slush, snow and ice underfoot it seemed the right sort of Kate to follow on with. An album that divides Bush fans but I like it a lot.

Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour
Streaming on NAS.......... another 2018 album release and a 2019 Grammy nominee and a mighty fine album. Kacey has a great voice and the lyrics and music on her albums grab your attention, worth a listen!
