A UK singer songwriter who isn't posted much on this forum and should be. If you ever get a chance to go and see him live then do so.

Just starting a bit of Elton John with Rock of The Westies. This was the first time I thought one his albums was a letdown after the fantastic run from the self titled debut record until this point. However there is still much to enjoy and the different sound of his then new band

Regarding John Smith:  Thanks for this Ewen, first listen sounds excellent and an artist I had not previously heard.  Things to explore.  Be well.  Jeff A

The Red Devils -  King King.

Recommended by Ewen a couple of weeks ago, this is a live album which captures rough and ready bar room blues at it's best.

Reminds me of The Feelgoods in places, which can't be bad.

Actually ‘The Complete Interplay Sessions’ and it really does not get much better than this. A stellar line up tight as tight can be.

I collected some medium Fraim legs yesterday and broke down the whole system, dusted, polished glass etc, reassembled. Now I have my cassette player where the 500 had been and can play cassettes again. Yay!

Playing Neil Young, ‘Unplugged’ musicassette.
