A UK singer songwriter who isn't posted much on this forum and should be. If you ever get a chance to go and see him live then do so.
Just to note for some of us oldies there is a special Old Grey Whistle Test on February 23 rd with whispering Bob Harris back at the helm. Pete Frampton, Kiki Dee, Richard Thompson, Albert Lee to name but a few....

10cc - The Hits a 1990 release on the German label Laserlight and essentially a 16 track comp from the 10cc and Sheet Music albums.Excellent sound quality and very crankable ... Oh Effendi indeed.

Just starting a bit of Elton John with Rock of The Westies.This was the first time I thought one his albums was a letdown after the fantastic run from the self titled debut record until this point.However there is still much to enjoy and the different sound of his then new band

Just finished listening to Neil Young “after the gold rush”, now onto Neil doing the blues with a double live cd, “bluenote cafe’ “.
Nothing like a bit of the good Captain before heading out to the football, is there? Vinyl, from the splendid Sun, Zoom Spark box set (£21 for four LPs!)

The Red Devils - King King.
Recommended by Ewen a couple of weeks ago, this is a live album which captures rough and ready bar room blues at it's best.
Reminds me of The Feelgoods in places, which can't be bad.
Actually ‘The Complete Interplay Sessions’ and it really does not get much better than this. A stellar line up tight as tight can be.

I collected some medium Fraim legs yesterday and broke down the whole system, dusted, polished glass etc, reassembled. Now I have my cassette player where the 500 had been and can play cassettes again. Yay!
