A few have moaned about the variable SQ of this double-CD set, but I think it's tremendous fun - and check out that tracklist!
IMHO one of the greatest live albums of all time. I had the great pleasure of seeing them live with Mick Taylor and they were the finest rock 'n' roll band I ever saw and that includes Purple, Zepp in early to mid 70's period.
Saw them a few times after Taylor left and they were never the same.
an excellent live 4th - March 19th, 1995

Bert, this felt to me like breaking the sound barrier with a piano so with time I found myself playing this album less and less.
Now Playing..........
Carla Bey - Trios
Carla Bley (piano), Andy Sheppard (tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone) and Steve Swallow (bass).
Streaming on NAS.......... Spending some time with Carla, Andy and Steve this Sunday morning and they are sounding mighty sweet! .....absolutely perfect......
Istvan Kertesz LSO - Dvorak Symphony No. 8 - vinyl
Our favourite symphony. Packed with power and played amazingly by the Aura. Great resolution of all instruments.

2018 - one of the best albums of the year imho on 4 records plus that “hidden” one.
Kwasi Washington - Heaven and Earth...
Wayne Shorter - The All Seeing Eye
I've been playing a few Wayne Shorter albums today, since Schizophrenia, this morning. This is one of the most adventurous (IMHO).
Good old Lou, he knows how to get into the happy-go-lucky Christmas spirit! On vinyl:

Oh yeah, Kev. That’s certainly guaranteed to cheer one up over Xmas.
Exploring some classical composer...Boismortier, Dornel, and Fasch, Fux and Kapsberger...on qobuz! Great stuff! Apart from that now playing: Wilhelm Kempff plays Bach
Joe Sanders - Introducing Joe Sanders
Good modern post bop jazz from Joe Sanders.
- Alto Saxophone – Will Vinson
- Bass – Joe Sanders (3)
- Drums – Rodney Green
- Piano, Electric Piano [Fender Rhodes] – Luis Perdomo
Borodin Trio - Brahms Piano Trios - vinyl
These are well worth listening to for their drive and excitement especially if you like piano, violin and cello.

Fugees - The Score
Not listened to this one for some time. Definitely, more bass less treble innit bruv.
Jackson Browne
For Everyman - CD Rip
Finally after several problems, my Nova is now all set up and I can listen to some music.
First up one of the Jackson Browne albums I bought a few days ago.

Yes I also didn’t listen to the end......, while it’s impressive...
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
The live version from the Antibes jazz festival, 1965. Superb performance and recording. It’s a delight to hear.
Miles Davis - Miles Smiles.
With the great songs 'Footprints' and 'Freedom jazz dance'.
Personnel: Miles Davis: trumpet; Wayne Shorter: tenor saxophone; Herbie Hancock: piano; Ron Carter: double bass; Tony Williams: drums.
(1970 | 2016)
Santana - Abraxas
This will do very nicely to warm away the frost and cold outdoors, albeit that I'm going to have to have a walk in it imminently...
