On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Now is the time to repent. Yes I have followed evil ways and hoped evil endings, but now I am clean, pure and open to take in the lords great light.
Cannonball Adderley quintet - At the lighthouse

Anorther pre-recorded cassette: this one's from 1990, a ROIR reissue of one of the very first On-U-Sound LPs from way back in 1982.
i absolutely adore this album - and this tape sounds great on the Nak.
taking advantage of having the house to myself for a while and listening to the following; all quite intense & on the heavier side but enjoying giving the system a work out and not having to slap the headphones on to listen. All great introductions from this forum....good times!
Slick production by Gary Katz of Steely Dan fame, Love and Money Strange Kind of Love, late 80’s album from this Scottish band, spent a lot of time in my car stereo back in the day, dated but still good stuff though, particularly Jocelyn Square, the album is not on Tidal but most of the tracks are. CD Rip.
Playing on Vinyl - Enjoying hearing this again - Robust debut by The Psychedelic Furs.
On Vinyl
Stunning guitar very much like Hendrix
Original fairly war torn vinyl, if it could talk it would have a few stories about my misspent youth! Pardon the crap photo!
On Vinyl
Classic
Just finished this double lp soundtrack. Decided to give it a spin on the turntable after being inspired by the Steely Dan thread in the music room. Only two Steely Dan tracks on the album, but lots of other good stuff on it.
Reminded elsewhere..
Allways at the top of the Peel charts come the Festive Fifty

Thanks really good recommendation
letting the system loose on the following, the first not surprisingly very Yello like:
the second from the guy in Civil Wars (before Civil Wars I believe), sounding bizarrely very Radiohead like to my ears?!
Just picked this out from the shelf on vinyl. Bob Marley & The Wailers. Classic stuff.
Playing on Vinyl - Very relaxing ambient electronica from Tangerine Dream from 1983.
