On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Now playing..........
Buddy Miller & Friends - Cayamo Sessions At Sea
Streaming on NAS.......... Having seen this recently mentioned on this thread I had to pick it up and now taking it out for a spin. With Buddy playing with Lee Ann Womack, Kacey Musgraves, Kris Kristofferson, Nikki Lane, Lucinda Williams, Richard Thompson Elizabeth Cook, Shawn Colvin, Jill Andrews, Doug Sergers and Brandi Carlile, it was just irresistible knowing there would be a number of winning tracks on the album. ........and it is sounding mighty fine!
Accompanying a log fire and a nice glass of Christmas Eve vin rouge - some chill out ECM Jazz with the Marcin Wasilewski Trio, January, streaming on Tidal.

Amy Wadge - Amy Wadge
Streaming on TIDAL.......... spending a little time with Amy, fantastic voice, lyrics and music, worth the time to give a listen. .......she is sounding sweet!
Great album, and I am still waiting for my copy to float down the river to me.
She wrote/co-wrote a number of Ed Sheeran's successful songs and, day I say, she had more influence over their success than he might care to mention. Not sure if she gets a mention on his CDs, certainly not the one i own.
Nigel very true Amy has worked with quite a few famous artists Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue to name a couple.
Quite difficult to find many of her CDs to purchase.
Thanks guys good call.....like the Dixie chicks stuff????
Released 2009 - Xmas greetings from Bob. ????

Thanks Ewe for bringing us this Bluegrass belter.
I aim to please. Hopefully I can come up with some goodies in the New Year for the members.
I have a couple already but ain't allowed to post them.
Out on 11th Jan. I am allowed to comment on this one and if you love good old fashioned rawk 'n' roll then give this a listen you might enjoy it.
It is one of those turn it up LOUD albums. My neighbour must be out as there is no way he couldn't hear this belting out of my speakers.
Tom Petty Echos

Bach: Christmas Oratorio: Gardiner, Archiv, vinyl.
Due pomp, weight and exuberance for the occasion.
Kirsty MacColl and The Pogues 'Fairytale of New York' always starts Xmas morning here, it is the closest we come at home to an Xmas tradition.
'You scumbag, you maggott, you cheap lousy faggott
Happy Christmas your arse, I pray God it's our last'
There, Xmas morning sorted. No more festive music and get on with the day! Freezing fog looks to have scuppered our plan to go kayaking outside the house though.
Cheers Bruce

Clive beat me to it! Rossetti being one of the group with Burn Jones and Morris, whose wife later became a mistress to Rossetti.
There is a fantastic Burne-Jones exhibition at Tate Britain (or the Tate as I still think of it), I saw it a couple of weeks ago, I’d recommend it to anyone who loves the Pre-Raphaelites.
Eoin, our local museum is arranging a trip in February so I will go. Happy Christmas
