On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Miguel Zenon - Tipico
Good post bop jazz.
Personnel: Miguel Zenón: alto saxophone; Henry Cole: drums; Luis Perdomo: piano; Hans Glawischnig: bass.
Persuaded my sister to give me this for Christmas back in 1975 when it was released, seemed appropriate to play it today! A little crackley but not bad considering it’s age, little did I know I’d be playing it 43 years later. Happy Christmas.
Enjoying this album! I have his first cd and appreciate his voice and guitar.
Horslips “Christmas” album, drive the cold winter away.

I don't need Christmas as a reason to play this wonderful album on this fine issue, happy Christmas to all you fine contributors to the 'music thread'.
Xmas dinner prepared, cooked, eaten and cleared; kids and grandkids visited, entertained and departed; discarded pressie paper tidied away; now's the time to chill to something suitably relaxing.
Brett Anderson - "Wilderness" (2008)
Villagers - "Becoming A Jackal" (2010)

Abba - The Album
I was totally outvoted (nobody else wanted Black Sabbath), this early Polar Label Swedish CD is the one to go for, far superior to the later compressed loudness biased alternatives that followed.
Now playing........
Jan Garbarek & The Hilliard Ensemble - Officium Novum
Streaming on NAS.......... a recent purchase, arrived in the mail yesterday and taking out for spin....... moving from the birth of Christ with the Chieftains to the baptism and beyond with Jan & The Hilliard Ensemble! Beautiful music!
