On Japanese vinyl, from 1987, a random pick. Radio KAOS is definitely not Roger Waters' finest hour. The production is a bit dated (although the sound effects are remarkably well-recorded), the tunes rather tenuous, the concept/narrative opaque to say the least, and the presence of brain-dead American DJ Jim Ladd is a huge irritant. But there are odd moments to enjoy, even if they sparsely spread across 40 minutes.

Brilliant!
This is one of my all time favourites of the Faces and Rod Stewart, it’s pulled together after a few sessions down the pub, it’s warm and real. For me the track Debris by Ronnie Lane with great backing by Stewart is an all time favourite. It’s about missing his Dad while on tour in America, and the Sunday ritual of rummaging around the market near Petticoat Lane in the East end of a London.
Keith Jarrett tio - Changes
For those reading the 'Finding new music' thread and who haven't yet heard the Ozrics, you could try this. It might open your ears to some great new directions, or alternatively might weird you out completely! I'm thoroughly enjoying the journey.

This one is for Gazza.

You got there in the end Clive, so glad you like them. I think because they were very left field in the early days when they were just gigging and doing festivals selling their cassettes out the back of a camper van etc. meant that they have been missed by a great number of people. IMHO they are a great band that since the mid 80's can hold their heads up with some of the very best with their unique and compelling style.

I fancied a bit of Dire Straits and haven't played this album in a while. The song Iron Hand always reminds me of the miners' strike in the 80's. Indeed I seem to recall reading somewhere that the title was a reference to Mrs T.
