The Hoax - Humdinger, WAV CD rip
1st play of another Hoax CD, another belter. My third CD of theirs, and all 3 are just top-notch blues rock.
Eoin, this is tet another super album of theirs isn't it.
Yes Steve, they’re consistently excellent, straight down the line classy blues-rock songs. played by guys who really know what they’re doing.
Verve Jazz at the Philharmonic,
this is great live performances of the early greats, so great to hear the audience respond. I read Norm Granz' biography starting Clef and then Verve records. So glad I get to hear the various combos of bands and singers at their peak. He did say the early performances had lots of dancers down front and eventually it became sit down concert and listen time, which is what he was aiming for.
SOJA-Poetry In Motion
after being out on this cold rainy day and a few beers this one is sounding nice and gas a feeling of soon to be warmer weather.
Seeing the weekend out with Disc Three from the four disc set - Bob Marley - Songs of Freedom. Time Will Tell is a tremendous song to see the disc out. Sounds great!!

SOJA-Born In Babylon
Rebulation-Falling Into Place
Using this as breakfast treat....
During my workout something more solid...
Vocal/instrumental compilation of Strayhorn songs.
Easing into the week.....

Ben Harper-Burn To Shine
Radiohead-Kid A
The Killing Fields soundtrack by Mike Old field on my new Star sounds superb especially Etude
Superorganism - It's like Ellie Roswell from Wolf Alice teamed-up with the Teletubbies. It's an odd one, but I quite like it.
Playing on Vinyl on the Geffen Label from 1985. A great country rock album
First play after delivery this morning its Peggy Lee and Latin ala Lee coupled with Ole ala Lee on a 2 for 1 on Capitol cool!

Yes - Fragile - CD (1972) Remastered
It arrived today having been ordered on Discog. A good suggestion by Steve from this very musical group - it will grow on me.
Also ordered Genesis Live “the way we walk” shorts and long (1991 Dance tour), which were available from the same seller at a bargain. I really love Genesis.
Phil
Followed Peggy Lee with Elton John - Caribou and now playing
John Lennon - Rock n Roll Music and the remixed album from 2014 which is an improvement on the original congested mix IMHO

Glad to see you enjoyed Tarkus from ELP the other day and I can heartily recommend Trilogy also which followed that album. This Prog Rock malarky is going to cost you a small fortune

Hi Alan, it will be the new 552 DR with a really good px on the 282/SCDR that is the big cost! Almost 5 days of running the demo boxes from Naim now. The sound is beginning to fill the room without being loud (8 o’clock) or veiled. It can still make the chest vibrate a bit at that level. The SQ depends a bit on the recording with the Genesis Live not being quite as full of effects as a studio album. I played Madonna’s Confessions on a Dance Floor CD which is spectacular.
Like Mike (@MDS) I like Phil Collins. In the Live album he sounds a bit rougher at the beginning, but it gets better and he sounds really good after a few tracks. In fact it all sounds really good.

Hi Phil
