Last year's thread can be found here:
Quincy Jones - Talkin' Verve a compilation of tracks culled from 60s albums which according to one quote was " Quincy Jones's sophisticated brand of jet-set funk".This is great fun and many will recognise the track "Soul Bossa Nova" as the music featured in the first Austin Powers movie.

Definitely not POP/ROCK, a potent mix of bluesy country vibes.

Fantastic sounding solo piano music somewhere between classical and Jazz
Same as above...
A jewel from 1969/70. Topanga man.... Reminds me of Gram Parsons.
Now Playing.........
Jan Garbarek Group - It's OK to listen To The Gray Voice
Streaming on TIDAL......... Continuing on with the exploration of Jan Garbarek catalogue...... 73 of them alone on ECM! All pieces on this album are quotes from Tomas Transtromer poems..... As good a reason as any to select this album! Into the second track and sounding mighty fine!
