On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
After going out and running some errands I came home and gave Ron Miles - I Am A Man and Tomasz Stanko Quintet - Dark Eyes another spin each. They really hit a happy note and had me returning for more! Shaping up to be a very pleasant Saturday!

I do, and I agree. I have heard a couple of his other albums but BIMWW is quite exceptional IMV. One of the best blues albums I have heard. Again, thanks for posting gems like this. Such belters make listening to music so rewarding for me!
Now playing.......
John Scofield - time on my hands
John Scofield (guitar), Joe Lovano (saxophone), Charlie Haden (bass guitar), and Jack DeJohnette (drums).
via CD player.......

If you like that one, you should listen to Überjam Deux. It is a really chilled album. Enjoy it!
Last one of the evening...
I don't think Tom has ever made a bad album but this is particularly good.

Hi Ian, never heard the Untitled album before but I've enjoyed it thoroughly, thx for putting it up.
Sweetheart of the Rodeo is my favourite album by them. A certain reviewer sums it up nicely here; "Combines the arrangements and lyrical topics of country, with the performances and intentions of rock and roll. Boy, are the results are something else!" Couldn't have said it better.
1969 - Vinyl - Fancied listening to Dandelion.

via CD player........ Another find at Golden Oldies earlier today! I own a few of Jan's albums and have listened to a few others on TIDAL. I had not listened to Visible World previously and bought it since I have not heard an album of Jan's that I do not like. The first few tracks are sweet and really enjoying the music! Nothing like finding a used CD in excellent condition, double the pleasure....
