What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Now Playing.......
Keb' Mo' - Big Wide Grin
viA CD player........ a little Keb' Mo' to see if I can get some afternoon foot tapping going.......
On original vinyl...
Bjork, Homogenic.
When I need a Bjork fix I normally go for Debut, as it has Play Dead at the end, which is one of my favourite tracks ever. I have not played this one in a very long time and that is a shame as this album is rather good too.
Now Playing............
Keb' Mo' - Just Like You
via CD Player......... continuing on with some of Keb' Mo's foot tapping music, with a guest appearance from Jackson Brown and Bonnie Raitt on the album. One of my favorite of Keb's albums, he is sounding mighty fine.
Now Playing........
Django Bates' Beloved - The Study of Touch
via CD player.......... The soft touch of piano keys to help set the mood for a good nights sleep. Django's 'The Study of Touch' will work its nighttime magic.......
Dunedin consort - Matthew passion
On CD:-
Al Di Meola - Land of the Midnight Sun
The Blue Nile - High
One of those records where there always seems to be something new. Not sure I've ever played it at this time of day. Good with strong coffee.

I was playing this CD in the car today. This CD has alternative remixed versions of the five best songs of the album. When the 2004 remix of the title track came on I glanced down at the speedo and found I was doing 95mph. This album should come with a speed warning. Classic hard rock.
One of the reason why I resist playing my favoured rock music in the car, Clive. I usually have Classic FM on the radio which encourages a soporific driving style, thus protecting my driving licence
Nice but a bit superficial....
As always amazing quality, but will need a couple of runs to get into it...

I had a similar chastening experience, driving overnight down the M1 with Yello blasting out.
The album in question was "Flag", and everything was going fine until the extended version of "The Race" came on ............. sheesh!
First play. I notice the price has dropped even further on the river now too, so if you fancy this there's really no excuse.
Snoop Lion - Reincarnated
A few years ago after a trip to Jamaica Snoop Dogg returned as Snoop Lion and made a reggae album. Who'd have thought.
I now see that his latest release is top of the Billboard Gospel Chart. A dogg of many talents.
Yelena Eckemoff: Everblue.
Sounding mighty fine - a very Funky Album from 1972 - Playing on Vinyl on RCA Records
Final two sides of this great live album, available on vinyl for the first time. Superb, explosive version pf "Bring It On Home".
Goran Sollscher - Bach: Suites & Sonata
Goran Sollscher plays the suites and sonata on a 10 string guitar. His tempo is relax, not too fast. Very nice playing.
This is a very good rendition of this great music. Keith Jarrett doesn’t seem to have recorded that much classical stuff, but what I’ve heard is all very good.

It may be bad form replying to one's own post, but I must say that this is very enjoyable. The whole band plays well together (of course, as you'd expect for this line-up), although there appears to be some tension between the horns on All Of You. The thing that really strikes me though is the superb piano noodling from Wynton Kelly. Some great ideas here.
Chet Baker - Mr. B.
A nice recording from Chet Baker (recorded in 1985).
