Enjoyed my first listen to Cavern Of Anti-Matter - Hormone Lemonade

https://cavernofanti-matter.ba...bum/hormone-lemonade

Lovely sounds of modular synths and home built drum machines, yet still keeping the loose, improvised sound familiar to fans of their first two albums, with minimal guitar melodies and live drum kit helping to build hypnotic layers of texture.

Browsing through the rest of the Windham Hill Records selection;

I have to say I’m somewhat disappointed with this one. It sounds like it is, a bunch of tarted up jams. It’s OK, but not upmthe the standard of their other two (and I’m a huge fan).

Maybe in just in a bad mood recently!

Very obscure but delightful ambient musique concrete...

Ben Harper And Charlie Musselwhite - No Mercy In This Land

This has got a hard-nosed blues vibe that is rather infectious. It sounds a bit rough via Tidal and I hope the CD (ripped) might sound a bit better. Does anyone own the CD of this who can advise?

Love Charlie, Ben annoys me.

For a long time I was under the impression Ben Harper and Lenny Kravitz were the same dude. Lenny also annoys me.

I'm late to the party Nick with anti-matter, so had no previous reference. I did buy 'Blood Drums' on CD & will make comparisons in due course.

A couple from this evening, George Harrison  - Somewhere in England, which by his standards was a fairly average effort  and then Cloud Nine, which in my opinion despite the Jeff Lynne production was a return to form with some super pop,

And sure there was only one place to go from Passengers.

I still remember my first time hearing the lead single (back in the day)  “The Fly” a real WTF moment.

An exceptional album.

After those times enjoying being a Passenger like your good self. Often reaching for those other rare U2 moments that I just can't get myself out of.

You may have guessed it was a Tamla day in the house today.

What memories these albums have for me.
