What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Queen - A Kind of Magic
Why? Because it's Queen.
It's.......All Right Now
Apart from being a brilliant album, I've always had a soft-spot for it having seen Free perform it live. One of those moments you don't forget.
Early ‘80s vinyl (bought while a student). After all these years, I’m not sure I’ve ever really understood the who,e story, but it’s a masterpiece of prog, the 1st album nearly flawless, the second album has peaks (LWL plays in my head regularly) and some lower points.
Boz Scaggs - Memphis
Wonderfully laid back but has that knack of drawing you in.
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. DSD. With the alt. Flamenco Sketches (bonus track) -good one.

I agree, Eoink. I've been a long-time Genesis fan, and I really like the first disc of this double album but the second I've never quite 'got' and now very rarely play it.
Genesis 'Wind and Wuthering'. I cleaned this last night on the ON so that I could give it a spin today. It's the last album featuring Steve Hackett on guitars, but possibly also my least played Genesis album. It's still better than many which followed IMHO.

I love both! Call yourselves Genesis fans? What is the world coming to?

Likewise, Clive. I think I've got all of their albums and I hardly play this one either. Must give it another listen soon.

Ok. Since some of us are on the topic of rarely-listened-to Genesis albums, this is one that I listen to least (if that's still English):
Well, I listened to it once, maybe twice, but haven't been tempted to again.....
This afternoons selection all from The Steve Miller Band -Fly Like an Eagle, Book of Dreams and slightly more recent Bingo!
Listening to mid 70s Miller always reminds me of a quote from one of the music weeklies ( possibly Sounds or Melody Maker) which stated that when listening to some of Mr Miller's guitarwork it seemed as if he was playing with metal thimbles on his righthand fingers as he riffed.Strange how that has stayed with me all that time
Now playing
Jimmy Nail - Crocodile Shoes with words and music from Paddy McAloon on some tracks

Heard the album already Dennis.
I'm just playing the second LP to help restore world order!
Lilywhite Lillith, The Lamia, Silent Sorrows, The Light Dies Down...all such great tunes!

Swansong. Melancholia required.

I always listen to both albums, and I’d have It. as one of the high points as well. But some of the ambient pieces have me drifting off a bit I’m afraid.
Original vinyl. One of the more obscure supergroups of the ‘80s, the drummer from Captain Beefheart, the guitarist from Henry Cow on bass, an experimental art rock guitarist and a folk rock singer/guitarist. Superb playing, some excellent songs, what is claimed to be an Okinawan folksong sung in the original language, and one of my favourite versions of Surfin’ USA. Not particularly coherent as an album, but lots of excellent songs, and it’s great fun.
I’ve had a look and what seems to be an edition with 2 additional tracks is available on Tidal.
Lurid green original vinyl. Motörhead Overkill. The last of the classic Trio, Fast Eddie Clarke, died today. Playing this superb example of heavy rock loud in his memory.
Aaron Diehl and company before sundown:
