What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Now Playing.......
Arild Andersen - In-House Science (Live)
Arild Andersen (double bass), Paolo Vinaccia (drums), and Tommy Smith (tenor saxophone).
Streaming on TIDAL......... Taking out Arlid Andersen's new album that was released on 03/23/18 for a spin and the first track is sounding mighty fine!
(1995)
Fine mid-life prog from Marillion, Fish's departure split the fanbase but I was one of those who was happy enough with Steve Hogarth stepping into the spotlight. A lot of good tunes on this album beyond the title track.
Muddy Waters - the best of.
I bought this on vinyl whilst still at school, and was completely captivated by it, to the extent that I wore out the first copy on the
trusty Dansette.
I've finally tracked it down on CD, in mono, (as it should be, IMHO); now ripped and playing, and it's once again sending
chills down my spine, Dansette notwithstanding.
RIchard Goode - Bach: partitas 2, 4 and 5.
Deep Purple
Purpendicular - CD Rip
Berts posts have put me in the mood for some Deep Purple, starting with this great album.
This album has for me one of the best Deep Purple songs ever, “Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming” sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it.

The Hoax - Humdinger
(1998)
Fabulous heavy British blues rock, the only thing not to like is that it's nigh on impossible these days to buy their music. These boys should have made it big time, such a shame that such great music can't be shared by a much wider audience!
Rachel Podger - Vivaldi: La stravaganza
ALANP posted:Now onto Sheryl Crow - The Globe Sessions.
Excellent album. The song There Goes The Neighbourhood really rocks.
Just been listening to a few episodes from this wonderful set, much of which had me in stitches. Nobody could do bewildered, baffled and bemused as well as Humph (bless him). And only a man as posh as he could spout such filthy double entendres and be so funny.

This is for me by far the best album of Deep Purple in the later period.
