On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
A gentle start to the evening with Eric Clapton -Slowhand, although he shows some fire on "The Core".A classy album nevertheless and captured beautifully on tape by Glyn Johns IMO

Annette Peacock is a true one-off, a remarkable musician and composer with an amazing avant-pedigree. The only shame is that she hasn't done more work over the past 45 years.
From 1978 here's the album with which she came closest to the mainstream, X-Dreams. On original UK vinyl.
2018 - Tidal...
Playing on Vinyl on Ace Of Hearts Records 1984 - American Garage Rock band The Lyres
Kevin-W posted:Just been listening to a few episodes from this wonderful set, much of which had me in stitches. Nobody could do bewildered, baffled and bemused as well as Humph (bless him). And only a man as posh as he could spout such filthy double entendres and be so funny.
I have both that and the 2nd treasury, they are both great. Humph was always very proud of a Telegraph or Times article which described him as a purveyor of blue-chip filth to Middle England, he claimed he wanted a van with that written on the side,

Jazz with a middle eastern touch....
EMI 3 x CD 2009 issue boxset : )
It's all very well for the digital sanitation,
but musically not a patch on my genuine charity shop original vinyl copies,
even though those musty old records have ye-olde pre-ownership crackle and too many clicks...

Great album
2018 - Tidal...
Heavy music and dark atmosphere with great Chelsea's vocal. Sounds very interesting.
Roxy Music - Avalon
Amazing new Jazz from London town... Ill Considered 3 will be an aoty contender I guess
Tina Turner - Private Dancer - Vinyl
I played this as the goodbye to the demo 252, and she made Tina sound wonderful. Now I am playing it as the hello 282, old Friend! I really love the 252 after an amazing 5 days with the brains boxes on the Naim glass isolation shelves. My old friend sounds good too, but she needs to warm up after a month of me being unfaithful! I hope she will forgive me over the next four days while I wait for another 4 isolation shelf for three power supplies and my amazing CDX2.
Phil
P.S. Now playing Genesis - ...and now there are three...
The 282 produces a very exciting and raw sound, which is good to listen to. We will have to see how the sound develops.
Now Playing.......
