On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Keith Jarrett tio - at the Deer head inn
Haven't played this album in years - Renaissance - Ashes are burning.Renaissance's hit single was Northern Lights.Playing on Vinyl on Capitol Records 1973.Lovely atmosphere and Annie Haslams voice sounds like an angel
Isaac Hayes.
After Patti Smith, time for a group hugely influenced by her. This 1988 double album is probably their best work. At the time they were probably the coolest band in the world. On original vinyl.
This album has become one of my favourite purchases this year. A real gem.

Quite possibly. But it’s also a great song. Give the album a go.

John Scofield (guitar), Joe Lavano (saxophones), Charlie Haden (bass), and John DeJohnette (drums).

Eric Steckel : Black and Gold, CD rip, coz it's raining outside
I bought this recently after seeing Kevin-W posting about the Chi-Lites, a band I'd forgotten.
Ok the reproduction quality is a bit flat but who cares? This is a real 'blast-from-the past' and fun. And Have You Seen Her? is lovely.
John Martyn - Glorious Fool
And now the 'drama' on R4. Ibsen. A challenge needed after the comfort of JM.
