On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
I’ve not played this solo piano album for ages, and had forgotten how good it is.
Great album, I hear it every now and then....
James Moody: Return from Overbrook.
Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa "Black Coffee" This'll get a regular spin around these parts ........... Beth Hart goes from raw grit hard country gall, to sassy, to don't f*** with me boy, to honey mellow, to american songbook, rock, jive & blues. All backed up by a great backing band & the outstanding geetar genius that is Joe Bonamassa.
Carly Simon > No Secrets (16/44.1)
Wife performing "Iron Yoga" in lounge, in front of TV and DVD, through big system, and cat snoring on office window ledge. Quite relaxing in a sort of "Ambient" way, as originally described by Brian Eno in his book - "A Year with Swollen Appendices".
One of the items in the Tales of Us box set is an additional CD, containing exclusive material, as follows:
Lee
Stranger (Moog Mix)
Thea (Alternative - Featuring Sa Ding-Ding)
Jo - Drew - Alvar (Live at Manchester International Festival)

I suspect that this album will be in my top 3 albums of 2018.
What is it about Bach and spiral staircases? Something to do with Fibonacci, maybe??

Zero 7 - Simple Things
Their fine debut album getting another spin as it sure helps lower the blood pressure.
Listening to the vinyl LP from this package. First impressions are that it sounds pretty good, certainly better than the other vinyl pressing I have...
