What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
docmark posted:I don't know how to bring up a photo, but currently I'm listening to Chilltronica No. 4 by Blank & Jones. Very relaxing, and sounds great on my system. I'm using Audirvana for the first time, and a Dave as my DAC. It's got some great low notes, so I've also been adjusting my JL subwoofer to give me some nice tight bass.
Generally, I first google the album and look for an image on Amazon or any of the other sites whose links can be copied (Discogs and Wikipedia can’t be). I then paste it in. Failing that save the image and upload to your imgur account to get a link of just the photo and paste that in the mountain box on the posting form.

Fun Lovin Criminals - Come Find Yourself
WAV CD rip.
It's time for my Sunday morning scooby snacks!

Genesis - Foxtrot - CD
Taking advantage of less noise on the mains to get this sounding amazing.

One of my favourite blues albums, a compilation from a film soundtrack of the same name - Deep Blues.

Back in the 1980s, the NME used to give away free cassette compilations.
In the middle of the decade, the paper, which was always quick to jump on a bandwagon, flirted (rather clumsily) with jazz. This is one of the better outcomes of that brief dalliance, a fine compilation featuring Monk, Rollins, Evans, Miles etc.
Ali Farka Toure - Savanne
I'm very struck by the similarity between the title track and the slowed down version of Fingerprint File that the Stones play on Love You Live. In a good way
Some relaxing Mozart Clarinet - Playing on Compact Disc on Nimbus Records

Paul Simon - Negotiations and Love Songs , a comp from 1990 that runs from his self titled debut through to the Graceland material with top notch sound quality.

Chris , that sounds interesting I'll have to investigate and its given me a nudge to play Its Only Rock'n'Roll for the studio version of Fingerprint File which I think is one of those unique tracks to their catalogue that The Stones come up with now and again.
Cheers Alan

Thanks Alan. I will be cueing up It's Only Rock'n'Roll myself later. But it's too soon in the day for anything sweaty and grimey.

Listening to Buttons again as it did sound a bit ropey, sounds much better in this mono remaster.

I think Kevin-W has the vinyl box set of that and I'm sure he would probably agree with you! Mind you, he is a totally analogue geezer, so maybe, not!
Yep I do have that mono vinyl set [@mention:6917038660692026]and [@mention:1566878603876139]. And yes, the SQ is stunning!

Time Waits For No One is a great track and Taylor's guitar solo is simply hypnotic!
Glen Campbell, Best of - Gentle On My Mind
Sunday lunchtime tunes, quiet background.

Another very good album from Kacey

Nice album, earlier this morning....
Have not been so much into King Crimson, but this sounds very nice indeed....

Herbie Hancock's keyboards and Ron Carter's bass playing are just so funky. Gotta play it loud!
