Am listening to Organ Great Classics, label is 2XHD.  According to my DAC, it's playing at a sampling frequency of 352.8 kHz.  Not sure if I set the DAC at that, or if it's actually reading that from my Core.  At any rate, it sounds great.  Sorry but I'm lost when it comes to posting pics.

This month we remind ourselves on some of those undeniable classics from the ‘New Wave’ genre popular in the mid-late 70s and still influencing music today.

Now playing Eric Clapton - Reptile, on HDCD. A tasteful album with fine supporting musicians from somebody who has nothing to prove.

It’s pretty good, but not quite as good as the members led me to hope. The bits with vocals are a bit limp. Still, game for letting it grow on me.

Stan Ridgeway - The Big Heat

Stan Ridgeway - The Big Heat

Streaming on TIDAL....... Going with a mention from GIANLUIGI MAZZORANA yesterday, and after listening to the 'Camouflage' video I had to give this album a listen. A few tracks in and it is something different, some fun lyrics and music.

Bill Morrissey - Standing Eight

Bill Morrissey - Standing Eight

Bill Morrissey (vocals, guitar, 12 string guitar, concertina, harmonica, composer), Richard Gates (bass), Rick Watson (guitar), Peter Keane (guitar), Patty Larkin (guitar, vocals), Robin Batteau (violin), Johnny Cunningham (violin), John Curtis (mandolin, electric guitar), David Buskin (piano), Leslie Silvokos (cello), Cormac McCarthy (harmonica), Shawn Colvin (vocals), Dean Adrian (vocals), Eric Lillequist (vocals), Suzanne Vega (vocals), David Patt (drums) and Greg Hopkins (trumpet).

Streaming on TIDAL.........  A mention from GIANLUIGI MAZZORANA had me take a peek at this album along with listening to the attached video got me hooked to take this out for a spin.  It is also the first time I have seen Cormac McCarthy with a musical credit.  I am a few songs into the album and it is worth the time to give a listen, a wonderful album.

I have searched Tidal for this under both the artist's name and the album's name with no luck. There is only one Bill Morrissey album called Friend Of Mine, a collaboration with Greg Brown, which I will of course give a whirl.

Is this more evidence that Tidal's catalogue varies by region, with the UK appearing to miss out more than the US.
