What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

Am listening to Organ Great Classics, label is 2XHD.  According to my DAC, it's playing at a sampling frequency of 352.8 kHz.  Not sure if I set the DAC at that, or if it's actually reading that from my Core.  At any rate, it sounds great.  Sorry but I'm lost when it comes to posting pics.

This month we remind ourselves on some of those undeniable classics from the ‘New Wave’ genre popular in the mid-late 70s and still influencing music today.

I love Talking Heads and am in fact just ripping Sand in the Vaseline.

Tommy Chase: Groove Merchant. UK hard bop from 1987. Great version of 'Killer Joe'.

It’s pretty good, but not quite as good as the members led me to hope. The bits with vocals are a bit limp. Still, game for letting it grow on me.

Streaming on TIDAL....... Going with a mention from GIANLUIGI MAZZORANA yesterday, and after listening to the 'Camouflage' video I had to give this album a listen. A few tracks in and it is something different, some fun lyrics and music.

Streaming on TIDAL.........  A mention from GIANLUIGI MAZZORANA had me take a peek at this album along with listening to the attached video got me hooked to take this out for a spin.  It is also the first time I have seen Cormac McCarthy with a musical credit.  I am a few songs into the album and it is worth the time to give a listen, a wonderful album.

I have searched Tidal for this under both the artist's name and the album's name with no luck. There is only one Bill Morrissey album called Friend Of Mine, a collaboration with Greg Brown, which I will of course give a whirl.

Is this more evidence that Tidal's catalogue varies by region, with the UK appearing to miss out more than the US.
