Fantastic album, I used to wear this CD out on long road trips for years, it always seemed to among the limited number of CD's chosen for the trip..........

Argyle And The Smoothskins, Go And Make Disciples.

Fancy hearing a New Band who are playing around with different rock genres and pull it off in a way that sounds really cool, then give this a go. on Tidal and Bandcamp.

(2013)

Samsara Blues Experiment - Revelation & Mystery

More than just a blues band as their name might suggest, these Berlin boys get very heavy and psychedelic which is a great mix with that blues grounding, cracking band that are the edge of the crossover with the blues heavy rock and psychedelia.

Rush - Time Stand Still  -The Collection, thought I'd give this a spin again  but I have to say that this band is not my cup of tea, although I enjoy "Spirit of Radio"

If you like a Spirit of Radio, does that mean you like the album from which it came, Permanent Waves? If so, you could try Hemispheres, A Farewell to Kings or Moving Pictures, which I think are all similarly accessible and probably the band's best output.

There is no middle ground
Or that's how it seems
For us to walk or to take
Instead we tumble down
Either side left or right
To love or to hate

Bob Dylan, John Wesley Harding, early ‘80s vinyl

Inspired by Christopher M’s earlier listen, righteous indignation sums this up. Still folky Dylan, the songs are wonderful little vignettes of American society brilliantly penned, with true anger showing in many, Dylan's delivery is perfect for the music. The sustained excellence of his first 10 or so albums is amazing, one of the great runs in popular music.
