On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Pink Floyd - Meddle.

Elvis Costello. This Year's Model. On original vinyl from 1978. Pumping it up with new wave/punk to start the evening.
Nine Inch Nails, Live at Woodstock 1994. Noise never sounded so good.
Pretenders. Eponymous debut on original vinyl from 1979. Continuing my new wave/punk listening. Quite a brilliant and accomplished sounding debut album.
Another guy who basically has nearly zero lemons in his catalogue.
Joe Jackson. Look Sharp! On original vinyl from 1979. Continuing my new wave/punk listening with another fantastic debut album.
Refined playing, I like this...
Starting this morning with Beethoven.
Don't think I've ever heard anything by FBS but he's picked some good tracks for this compilation, including Spanish Stroll, I Love the Sound of Breaking Glass and Road Runner. From Bandcamp.
Britten Sinfonia - Bach: Goldberg variations
The Goldberg variations played by a string orchestra.
Enchanting piece of Bach Harpsichord - Playing on Compact Disc on Hyperion Records
Playing On Compact Disc on Decca Records.
Playing on Compact Disc on Naxos Records - Very relaxing to work to
Karl Richter - Bach: Brandenburg concertos
An excellent new Schubert recording by Marc-André Hamelin. 20% off for the next few days if you subscribe to the Hyperion newsletter. £10.80 for a new recording in high res can’t be bad.
Now Playing..........
Paul Motian - Time And Time Again

Listening into this one, fine execution - will buy it....
