I've warmed to this the more I've played it.

Mike, Please stop messing around and put some Fink on! :-)

Best, C.

Now you might find this hard to believe, Chris, but I don't have any!

Mike

Mate, I thought I was slow off the mark!

C.

Prompted by this, I dipped my toe into some Fink waters yesterday - how has this fellow passed me by? Thanks for the tip! Much interesting exploration awaits.

I wonder if the album sleeve was inspired by the drummer.

During workout

Hope that's not how the workout leaves you like, Bert

No no , no worries. It's indoor cycling and you push yourself never so far that you look like that. When the pollen season is a bit more relaxed I will be again outdoor and than I might look like that after a workout....but without listening to music.....

Always thought in some weird way that this album was called hail to the chief...., but it's not. Still as it stands a good album of Radiohead, while I much prefer In Rainbows....

Triggered by my earlier post...grat guys, great album...still thinking back on my first encounter when they had been the pre-act for dreamtheater and I didn't like them (yet). Now I dig all the material...

  Blimey!

Dave , do you have anymore of the From The Vaults releases ?

'Fraid not, Alan, I only got hold of this one, as I was there that day, and anyone who says "nostalgia isn't what it used to be" is wrong!

Yep, I bought it for the same reason !! Performance wise I think they were just 'OK'

Now, as regards the act that opened for them, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, they were absolutely stormin'

An old Andrew Odom set backed by a great band. Really good Chicago Blues.

An even earlier set of Andrews entitled Sings and Sings and Sings. Sorry no pic

Always thought he sounded vey much Bobby Blandish on this album.

Nice jazz by the much overlooked Sonny Criss.

  • Walter Davis - Piano
  • Paul Chambers - Bass

Recorded in 1966.

(2006)

Nerina Pallot - Fires

Fine voice, good songwriting and well backed up lyrics made this a very good album with lots of fine tracks to enjoy.

Yes I agree, their albums were well recorded. I played a couple a few weeks ago and it was good to hear a broad dynamic range.

Haven't played this for sometime still enjoyable.
