On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
I'm continuing to explore (and enjoy) my PM collection. Although the album 'Song X' is a bit challenging, I've found everything Pat does to offer something special and this more recent album is no exception.
A new kid on the block, and absolutely innovative and edgy trio playing, give it a try...
Tord Gustavsen like playing. Their new one, it doesn’t dissapoint...
Starting with a classic

If I can slip in an illicit book review. David Lee Roth ‘Crazy from the Heat’. Funny, grotesque in parts, but most of all, smart. The professionalism of the group from its early days of house parties perhaps not what you’d expect.

Antony and the Johnsons
George Harrison - George Harrison , solo album from 1979 that is quite mellow with contributions from the likes of Eric Clapton ,Steve Winwood and Willie Weeks.Contains the usual tasteful playing from Harrison himself.
Great relaxing guitar jazz album...
Too good and too diverse to be labelled rnb, too clever for her own good perhaps and why she never troubles the charts.
A genuinely decent artist imo and another nice piece of work, even if she is a potty mouth.
Tedeschi Trucks Band - Revelator
This comes out for a play almost weekly if only for the track "Midnight in Harlem" which is quite beautiful.
