What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
RSD vinyl record. Absolutely fantastic: the version of "Mornin' Glory" is breathtaking.
Feel like makin’ breakfast...let’s rawk.

Infectious indie rock from Amsterdam - Canshaker Pi
Stuck somewhere in another dimension inbetween folk and jazz. Interesting listen....
Had to listen to this one once more. One of the best jazz records of 2018 imo
As good as Jessica - Ill Considered 3
Very nice surf/80ies influenced indie pop - as if The Drums would have continued with their early stuff...
I dunno why, but I had a hankering to listen to this. On a Japanese SHM-CD, from the LP replica box set, a big favourite with many of this forum.
Isn't Bonzo's drumming on "Fool In The Rain" phenomenal? I also love "Carouselambra", perhaps the oddest (and least Zep-esque) entry in the LZ discography, but a great choon nonetheless...
More LZ on SHM-CD. The odds and sods album, with some very tasty bonus tracks...
Playing no. 7, having heard part of the first movement on BBC Radio 3 last evening. I think as an overall set, this is rather good.
1997 was a pretty good year for albums, with excellent longlayers from the likes of Portishead, Blur, Spiritualised, Bjork, Radiohead etc. This one, from contrarians Cornershop, was up there with the best of 'em.
UK first press vinyl.
On 45rpm vinyl...stunning album!
Was very fortunate to hear this on a top spec Tiger Paw turntable, including the new Javelin arm which is a unipivot design like the Aro, and it sounded brilliant!
Annie Lennox - Bare - CD
The system now changes this from nice to sitting on the edge of the chair with the interesting sounds. The bass sounds so good and natural while being powerful without being tiring. There is so much drive in the music. Always one of my wife’s favourite singers.......
Earlier I listened to the Verdi Requiem on vinyl.
This rivals the Mozart Requiem. If you haven’t got this then go get. Can’t recommend others, but Leontyn Price is highly rated for being the Italian kind of soprano that this work needs. All the others perform excellently as well. It is a work that taps into the emotions.
