On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Good stuff, zikarus. I've got this one sitting in my bandcamp wish list I've enjoyed much of their catalogue of work.
A Bandcamp discovery. An interesting indie band from Toronto.
Jangly guitar driven (and therefore alone) great indie stuff from San Francisco with a heavy 60/70ies and Pavement and Replacements touch. Summer music
Muttonjef posted:I've recently discovered this guy and WOW, what a first album, particularly the live tracks.
Not the best recording but the music is wonderful.
Great shout Muttonjef. I like this very much, clearly talented. As you say the naff recording has done them no favours, but their class still shines through.

There is some great stuff on YouTube that's worth checking out.
Brilliant cover version

Where did you stay in HK Bert?. Mid Levels?
(2012)
Django Django
Their eponymous debut album that still sounds fresh and vibrant in an electronic/indie/synth-pop way, lovely innovative catchy stuff with some really great tunes that get into your head.
Eversince I have been to West Africa many years ago my heart and mind are even more open for African music. This album from the Mali based singer is a very good though mostly less traditional crossover work

I'm really enjoying this album, but can't find a Hi Res download for some reason?

A good call Apye!
You've inspired me to play it but sadly it's only on Tidal

A classic indeed, you've prompted me to add to a playlist.

I quite like it but it isn't in the true sense of the word a new Agnes album. It is basically a bunch of tracks that have inspired her over the years along with 4 trax of her own.
AJ Ghent Band - Live At Terminal West
Some upbeat fun. Perfect for a warm, sunny evening.
I have to be in the right mood for Roger Waters and tonights the night!
I've always loved this album having brought it on vinyl when it was released in 1992. The shop in Maidstone sadly no longer exists, but it was a place of refuge every lunch time from an excruciatingly boring job.

If you haven't heard Roky Eriksons solo albums this is great. Its called The Evil One and came out in 1981 think you will really enjoy.Very tight band and Roky's haunting vocal, interlaced with his LSD drenched songs.
Wishing you a fine evening
Cheers Ian
