(Released yesterday)

No apologies for playing this great contemporary psychedelic rock album again, it's been going around in the car and as background chez nous for nigh on 24 hours. Sixties and early seventies West Coast influenced sounds. More vocals than they usually get involved with but that all works fine a delicate take on the riffs, liking this mucho.

A classic indeed, you've prompted me to add to a playlist.

If you haven't heard Roky Eriksons solo albums this is great. Its called The Evil One and came out in 1981 think you will really enjoy.Very tight band and Roky's haunting vocal, interlaced with his LSD drenched songs.

Wishing you a fine evening

Cheers Ian

You probably wouldn't recognise it now. The NT has had a mass of new housing built everywhere. It was Aberdeen and Kennedy Town for me. My SWMBO is HK Chinese.

This is incredible Jazz from master pianist Art Tatum and great fun, 6 CDs with various partners for trios.  Pablo recordings are straight forward  by Norman Granz of his favorite musicians and singers doing what they love.  I have many recordings which are superb.

I've been cleaning and painting today with BBC Radio 3 playing on a portable radio/cd/cassette. I'm sure I heard a track from this album at some point on the J to Z programme, or at least someone playing vibes like Bobby Hutcherson. Thought I'd play the whole album now I'm at home. Super album, great recorded sound.

Another incredible pianist Oscar Peterson, classically trained but turned to jazz.  Granz heard him and put him on the American stage.

These jazz sessions have an incredible mix of talent, thankfully he recorded these in late 40s and 50s you can hear the crowd and how impressed they were.  Jazz used to be dance music but with these concerts they settled down to hear and focus on the music. There are 4 sessions on each CD as they mix and perform together.

Having not played this album in ages, hearing 'Big Love' on the car radio earlier reminded me to give this a play.

Very 'polished' production aside, this is a still a fine album.

Yeah it’s almost 10 years ago and haven’t been back in the last 7 years. Would need an excuse - as I liked it a lot. With the highlight of the year the Rugby Sevens...

I like it.  I will be definitely be giving it a few more spins in the following days.    Picks up where "Every Open Eye" ends; which imo is good in this instance.  I think you will enjoy it.

I seem to never tire of Mark Knopfler's, Tracker tour 2015, much to everybody else in the house's chagrin.

It is one of the best live albums I have.
