On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Night Owl CD Rip
And the second.

Lunatic Soul, Under The Fragmented Sky.
This is a Shadowy, Dark ambient, electronic ,acoustic follow up mini album to the brilliant album "Fractured".
Mariusz Duda of Riverside is on a roll, he keeps producing some really good music, long may it continue.
Playing On Compact Disc on Naxos - Delightful Bach Violin Concertos
Not given this a spin for a while. Difficult to believe it was his sixth album and I was still in nappies!
Mature, mellow and sophisticated.
G

Nice jazz by Bertha Hope's quintet. Bertha Hope was married to pianist Elmo Hope for just seven years prior to his death in 1967.

Clear vinyl?
(1972)
Hot Tuna - Burgers
After another very warm, sunny, sultry day I thought I'd start with some fine Hot Tuna and Burgers. Rock and blues rock from this band that started out as a side project of Jefferson Airplane in 1969.

Clear vinyl?
No just normal Clive - Unfortunatly my copy is a bit crackly in places....one of those albums where a Compact Disc would be ideal with the inky blackness.Lovely ambient piece from Steve though. He can really turn his hands to anything, especially with his System 7 stuff
Joe Sample - The Pecan Tree
This is quite good and it includes some lovely ballads, a couple from the wonderful Lizz Wright, which is worth the entry fee alone.
Stephen Stills @ Mansssas Live from Amsterdam 1972 - Sound is very good - Double compact Disc
On vinyl...

What a great choice Tabby Cat and perfect after a day of agro at work!
I've seen Steve a few times, but the most memorable was at the Gong Family Unconvention in Amsterdam, November 2006. What a great and bizarre weekend!!!
(1971)
Hot Tuna - In a Can
I couldn't resist another helping of their eclectic mix of rock coming in various flavours including but not limited to; blues, folk, garage, psychedelic...
An album that just gets better as the system gets better, revealing more and more layers to each track. This has become a firm favourite in my Radiohead album collection and is sounding superb this evening. The track 'Sulk' as it reaches its cacophonous crescendo is such an exhilarating listen.
Radiohead - The Bends
On vinyl...

I'm sure that any Gong event would be pretty bizarre!
Stephen Stills
Stephen Stills - Tidal HiFi
First time ever listening to a Steven Stills solo album, enjoying it a lot, I have listen to CSN many times but as I have said this is the first time listening to a Stills solo.

I've never partaken in the "weed" but 2 days of breathing in the atmosphere, sent me to another place.
