Stephen Stills - Tidal HiFi
First time ever listening to a Steven Stills solo album, enjoying it a lot, I have listen to CSN many times but as I have said this is the first time listening to a Stills solo.
Edward
It's a super album, Edward. Stephen Stills 2 and Manassas are also very fine and since you have enjoyed his debut album these are well worth checking out.
Don't forget the Live album which is always worth a listen.
Cherry Ghost - "Thirst for Romance" - sadly Cherry Ghost seem to have called it a day.
Hard to categorise bit a wonderfully quirky album with excellent sound quality.

Lastly for this enjoyable session tonight, this enchanting album.

The Cars - released 1978
Always loved the song - "Moving in Stereo"
In BIS' Chinoiserie, pianist Jenny Lin brings one of the most compelling and relevant themed recitals to be heard on disc in years, a collection of pieces by Western composers that attempts to explore the subject of China in some regard, not only musically but culturally.
..Jenny Lin's Chinoiserie is a fabulous collection that just about anyone can grasp and enjoy. Don't be scared off by the unfamiliar composer names, yet if one has a specialist interest about so-called "orientalism" in Western classical music, then this is just about the best starting place one can find. This album brings back some vivid memories of a particular time of my youth.
Now Playing.......
Damian Rice - O
Streaming on NAS........ My favorite Damien Rice album, the songs flow so well together on this album, enjoying this as the first album this Wednesday evening.
Now Playing.......
Damien Rice - My Favourite Fantasy
Streaming on TIDAL....... Continuing on with more from Damien, he is sounding fine this evening!
If you are wondering about the young guy known as Taz. He has been around awhile and has played with Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr and Gregg Allman amongst many other greats.
Playing on Compact Disc very nice UK HIp - Hop from The Streets
Hadn’t documented my yesterday’s evening listening - so let’s start there. A fine album, with not so often heard piano music...
Also from yesterday evening, some more difficult to access trio jazz, but if you engage, it’s highly rewarding...
This morning started with something not so often heard...
I still have to say that I am not so excited with this one as compared to earlier work, it has some highlight.... but I am not fully engaged for the whole album...
Smooth very smooth
Playing on Compact Disc - Incredible atmospheric and moving in places
Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie, a return to form where everything sounds fully formed.Aided by Jeff Lynne with great cameos from Ringo and Steve Miller .
Chris Isaak - Heart Shaped World
As I do a few tasks around the place.
Roon has a “focus on similar” tab so Marc Ribot brought me to

Playing this AC/DC album as it was meant to be played - LOUD. This is their best live album IMHO, with the late, great, Bon Scott. You can just feel the energy in this performance.
Free - Fire and Water
Great album...
