On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Ronnie Wood - Now Look , his second solo album with a great supporting cast
2016 - CD (rip)...
Clare Teal - Don't Talk
Vinyl released 1984 - One of the best albums to come out of Liverpool. ????
Brad Mehldau - Elegiac cycle
One of his best recordings, imo. Brilliant solo jazz piano.

John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band.
I'm following you with this album. Streaming Tidal. There where 2 versions 1 MQA which A+ interprets as 24/96 and the other CD quality. Streaming using a Mac, A+, Hugo and HD800's, I preferred the MQA one. Just compared the first track (Mother), then continued with the preferred.

Thanks for posting this one Dan Steel!. I didn't know this one. Always good to discover new jazz music. Especially with Barry Harris on piano. Regards, Jeroen.

Coffee on a wonderful peaceful sunday morning
Thanks again Ewemon!
Paul McCartney. Flaming Pie. On CD from 1997. Macca, producer George Martin, and engineer Geoff Emerick all at the top of their game for this gem. Genuine energy in every track with wonderful sounding guitars, both acoustic and electric. I've long considered this among McCartney's top-five albums. Tonight feeling it might be his best.
Ella & Louis
Bought the CD in a charity shop yesterday for 99p. Ripped to Core.
This is very pleasant listening for early Sunday morning.
The second track Paint your Pretty Picture always gets me. Wonderful album with Dizzy Gillepsie on trumpet.
Delicate playing..
Vinyl originally released 1963 - Some fine Sunday morning jazz. ????
