On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
1999 - CD(rip)...
Friends said it wouldn't happen but....
Genesis - Wind & Wuthering
Sounds brilliant. Probably unplayed by me since the mid 80s. Bought for me the week it came out by my first girlfriend and I think only my third LP!
Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer Different Park, WAV CD rip
A new artist to me, I enjoyed her contribution to the country Elton John tribute album enough to pick up a couple of her discs. This is very clever country music, witty intelligent lyrics telling tales of redneck America in an affectionate yet dispassionate way. Nice songs, good tunes, well played and sung in a slightly light voice, she’s a real talent.
2003 - CD(rip)...
Nice EP
Not as directional as his earlier work, but still an enjoyable album...
A talented guitar player, like it...
Released 2017 - jazz and fusion and what lies between. Cracking album. ????
Arthur Louis featuring Eric Clapton - Knockin' On Heaven's Door, a bit of a cuit affair due to the Clapton connection.Features the reggae-fied arrangement of the title tune that EC nicked for his own next single release.
On vinyl...
On vinyl...
Modeselektion 04 - nice electronica compilation
Interesting band with a very unique sound / style
Now Playing.......
Bruce Springfield - Born In The U. S. A.
Streaming on TIDAL........ Something to rock to this afternoon, from 34 year ago and still sounding mighty sweet!
2001 - CD(rip)...
Vinyl reissue originally released 1967 - Stunning album. ????
On vinyl...
Anybody remembering these guys?

Love Kacey's music, highly recommend you check out her other albums.
First time I heard of her was on the NPR Tiny Desk web page. Well worth the time to check out videohere.
She performs 5 songs over a 22+ minute performance, great back up band in well lit suits!
