Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer Different Park, WAV CD rip
A new artist to me, I enjoyed her contribution to the country Elton John tribute album enough to pick up a couple of her discs. This is very clever country music, witty intelligent lyrics telling tales of redneck America in an affectionate yet dispassionate way. Nice songs, good tunes, well played and sung in a slightly light voice, she’s a real talent.
Love Kacey's music, highly recommend you check out her other albums.
First time I heard of her was on the NPR Tiny Desk web page. Well worth the time to check out videohere.
She performs 5 songs over a 22+ minute performance, great back up band in well lit suits!
She’s performing in Liverpool November 3rd ????
Herbie Hancock - Maiden Voyage, a jazz classic bringing the evening to a close.
Released 2005 - Folk music – Americana, singer-songwriter, alt-country – doesn’t get much better than this. ????

I really love those labels. It is all country music, isn’t it?
Now Playing......
Shankar - Vision
Shankar (10-string stereophonic double violin, percussion), Jan Garbarek (tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, bass saxophone, percussion), and Palle Mikkelborg (trumpet, flugelhorn).
Streaming on NAS........ Coming back to Shankar this early evening with the violin and horns, a wonderful combination and need to be on the look out for more of Shankar's music when out and about!
Now Playing.....
Ralph Towner - Lost and Found
Ralph Towner (classical guitar, 12 string guitar), Denney Goodhew (saxophones), Marc Johnson (double-bass), and Jon Christensen (drums).
Streaming on NAS....... a recent acquisition and taking it out for another spin.........
Not as popular as some of their albums, but one of my favourites. I think it was the first Caravan album I actually bought. Currently playing the CD from my iPhone. This version has the recording of For Richard from the Fairfield Halls as a bonus track. That is a superb song.
Now Playing.......
Sean Rowe - The Salesman and the Shark
Streaming on NAS........... In the mood for some of the baritone voice of Sean this Thursday evening. Each and everyone of his albums is worth the time to give a listen, a great songwriter and musician with one hell of a voice to deliver the lyrics......
Some 80's rock found with a bunch of other albums found at the parents house. Not bad
Another one from the 80's. Played it every day afterschool in 7th grade. Playing it again- no ticks, pops or scratches. My cd's from the same period are scratched and skip. Makes you wonder.....

Depends what you define as all country Dwight Yoakham, Buck Owens etc yes . Gravel voiced Chip Taylor has never been country he has been writing some of the most distinctive acoustic music for years, and famous for writing “Wild Thing” and “Angel Of The Morning”. Carrie Rodriquez with her drawl and violin adds a touch of bluegrass as well. As I said this album has everything that’s why I listed the different genres. Bit like Buddy & Julie Miller.
Try Listening to his triple 2015 “ The Little Prayers Trilogy”

My most played Caravan album.
Vinyl released 1970 - What an album to start the day off. ????
From last night, on vinyl...
Released 2018 - Legrow does a very impressive take on the Chess Records catalogue.
This is an excellent new album by Jakob Lindberg. What the title doesn’t show is the ‘.... to Britten’. He has transcribed some challenging Britten pieces for the lute and it works wonderfully well. The recording, at 192k, is exceptionally natural. Just lovely.
2018 - Tidal...
Side project by Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay.
In 1973, Mike Oldfield release his first studio album Tubular Bells under the Virgin Records label. A nice mellow start to the morning. Listening on CD.
1990 - Tidal...
Brilliant album by The Streets and their unique straight forward lyrics about Working Class Male life - Playing on Compact Disc on 679 Artists
