Kings of Leon - Because of the Times
Because there is a lot to like and enjoy here from these Nashville rockers.

This is probably one of the best recordings that I have come across and in my humble opinion it surpasses the recording he made in the 1980s. The bow dances with the strings and both resonate harmoniously. An absolute delight to listen on CD.
Minh, because of this post I went to visit the river and I am now in possession of this beautiful pair of discs. His playing is indeed sublime. They have barely been off since they arrived. Thank you.
Lutyens, It is one of my favourite renditions and it warms my heart to read your kind words. Wishing you a good day.

Ben Monder - Amorphae
Ben Monder (electric guitar, electric baritone guitar), Pete Rende (synthesizer), Andrew Cyrille (drums), and Paul Motian (drums).
Streaming on TIDAL......... Continuing on with a guitar theme, this time with Ben Wonder, wonderful album, originally a duet album with Ben and Paul Motian. Album was partially recorded at the time of Paul passing so Andrew Cyrille was recruited to complete the project.
Keb' Mo': Keb' Mo'. CD Rip. Not listened to this in a while and thought I'd give it a spin again.
Edit - I'd forgotten how good this CD sounds, well, when ripped that is!

Tasmin Archer - Great Expectations, an accomplished 1992 debut that included the UK No 1 "Sleeping Satellites".
Haven't played that for ages. A good album which at the time I thought announced a new talent and then Tasmin A seemed to disappear.
Some laid-back Ray Lamontagne to relax to after dinner.
Robert Cray: I was Warned About You. CD Rip.
Brilliant Dub album by King Tubby and Augustus Pablo - Playing on Cassette on a Maxell UR C60
Some super-cool Marvin Gaye. Timeless.

Simply Red - Blue, by now it was really just Mick Hucknall and collaborators but still a decent effort ,although heavy on the covers .

Great choice Edward. I'm playing it now and I can't believe that I almost forgot how good it is. This has probably been the best re-discovery I have made this week. Thanks for reminding me. Wishing you a good evening. ATB Minh
