What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Enjoying this Rodrigo Harp Concerto album - Playing on Compact Disc on Deutsche Grammophon
This morning begins with a compilation of Smooth Classics from Classic FM. It is a beautiful collection of dreamy yet irredescently reflective classics. Awaken the mind to the day ahead gently to the sound of tranquility and harmony. A ray of pure delight to inspire and illuminate the day ahead. Listening on CD.
Uplifting piece of Bach Flute concertos - Very relaxing to work too - Playing on Compact Disc on Naxos
Music as a language of expression does not necessarily need to be understood, it can be experienced through expression. Ciela di Toscana by Andrea Bocelli is a fine example where communication is established through emotion and understanding is enunciated through conviction. Listening on CD under Polydor.
Melt your heart to the sound of Helena Hellwig:

Great choice Edward. I'm playing it now and I can't believe that I almost forgot how good it is. This has probably been the best re-discovery I have made this week. Thanks for reminding me. Wishing you a good evening. ATB Minh
Hi Minh, this for me is why I love this thread, discovering new artists and rediscovereing albums in your collection that you had forgotten you had.
Now I wonder what artist I will start tonight’s listening with.
