Agree. Fantastic album. Amazing lead vocals by Josh and looking forward, hopefully, to a bit cleaner technical prowess in the fingering from lead guitarist Jake. No doubt though, these boys got chops!

Playing on Compact Disc on New York City Label - Nu Groove Records - Good compilation of their Deep House artists from 1992
Just right for Saturday morning. It’s quite a bit smoother than my favourite recordings, so a pleasant change.

Strictly Rhythm was another great label, this is why for some of us vinyl never went out of fashion.

Wes Montgomery - Jazz Masters 14, part of an excellent series on Verve, a cracking hour of Wes.
The Saw Doctors - Villains?, this is Irish pop/rock with a sense of humour at its best.
Queen - The Works.

I think there was a thread not too long ago about minimalist music and composers, which piqued my interest in this type of music. I've just bought some albums by Max Richter, Olafur Arnalds, A Winged Victory for the Sullen and Johann Johannsson which I am enjoying and this seems to be in a similar vein. Thanks for the recommendation Hungry Halibut - I will have to give this a try.
Oneohtrix point never. Age Of
