Andy Bey - Ain't Necessarily So
Streaming on NAS.......... My favorite Andy Bey album, fantastic vocalist and pianist recorded live at Birdland in New York City in 1997 with the album being released a decade later. This is one album that should be given a listen, sit back close your eyes and take a trip back in time.
Andy Bey (vocals, piano), Peter Washington (bass), Kenny Washington (drums), and Vito Lesczak (drums).

Dr John - Afterglow
A classic album by Jefferson Airplane so many great Tracks - Playing on Vinyl on RCA Records 1967
(1978)
I was in the mood for something I couldn't quite put my finger on, then this caught my eye, Mr. Gilmour's wonderful debut solo album which is now forty years young.
Jon Hassel. Listening to Pictures. (2018)
William Bell - This Is Where I Live
What a great voice this gentleman has.
Soulful stuff to ease the stresses of the day.
(1975)
Brian Eno - Another Green World
A change of tack to some very fine electronica, the list of guest musicians on this include Phil Collins, John Cale, Robert Fripp, Percy Jones and Paul Rudolph.
SOHN - Tremors
CD rip.
Many thanks to Bert. He mentioned it in one of his excellent Munich posts.
David Elias - Crossing - DSD
I downloaded this ages ago when I was playing around with DSD. By the looks of this version of the album cover they are playing around with MQA as well. Problem was the UnitiServe doesn't do DSD so I always had to mess around with a memory stick. I now have a QNAP that I use as my server and it reads DSDs. Playing this for the first time in ages and it is rather good.
Playing this gem on vinyl checking out the effect of the K-Rad on the top shelf.

Great minds think alike Nigel, I have it loaded on the iPad & was about to press play & got interrupted. Anyhow, as soon as I get settled down again ................ all David Elias is 'rather good' in my book, I also have 'The Window' 'Coffeehouse Playlist' & 'Acoustic Trio DSD Sessions' Like you say rather good.
Rumer - This Girl's In Love
I will be the first to admit that this will not be everyone's cup of tea. I guess you either like Bacharach's songs or you don't. I will also admit to liking this a lot. Not sure why, I just do.
a little light listening for the evening, doesn't sound over 25 years old either.....
R3 from Snape Maltings.
Schumann. Now Mendelssohn with the Chiaruscuro Quartet, if I have that right.
The Mission, Another Fall From Grace.
Released in 2016, this album certainly takes me back to the 1980's Mission/Sisters of mercy sound. I really should play this more often.
Definitely one of the best albums I've purchased this year.
Van Morrison - What's Wrong With This Picture
Van the man can do no (well very little) wrong IMHO. This is a typical Van belter.

The Chiaroscuro are wonderful; we saw them at the Turner Sims last year. It’s a pity I missed the concert, but your post inspired me to play this:
The Mavericks - Trampoline, bought for not many pennies and its always something different.
Marillion, Misplaced Childhood.
This is the first Marillion that I had heard and it took me a while to like it. Like turned to Love and I went to see them play the whole album live at the Garden Party Tour, MK Bowl in 1986, supported by none other than Mama's Boys, Magnum, Gary Moore and Jethro Tull and what a day it was
