Richard Thompson - Rumour And Sigh

What he does best. Think he probably needed a few strokes, emotion-wise, when he made it though.

Yep, this double album is a great way to either discover SRV or a quick way to play throught some of his best. Good, sound quality too which can not always be said of these 'collection'.

From when Brian probably wasn't dealing from a full deck. Still a work of great merit nonetheless.

David Elias

Crossing - Tidal HiFi

I often get emails from Mr Elias but never got around to listing to any of his albums, prompted by the posts from NIGALB & MIKE-B listing to this album on tidal, brilliant album all round music, mastering etc.

In 1972, Roxy Music released their self-titled debut studio under the Island label. I am listening to the HDCD remaster which includes Virginia Plain.

Happy to know we've prompted you to have a listen.     But as good as it might be via Tidal, I suspect you are missing a lol;  locally streamed DSD is so much better.

Agreed, so far i have two albums on DSD, "Michael Jackson - Thriller", and the brilliant "Paul Berner Band -
Road to Memphis".

I will defiantly be buying one of Mr Elias albums on DSD when i get home tonight, the hard part will be deciding which album to buy first.
