What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Rickie Lee Jones - Rickie Lee Jones
Such an evocative album, well for me anyway. Brings back so many memories.
Tea Leaves - The Scaremongers (from ‘Born In A Barn’)
The magnificent Simon Armitage turns his voice to singing (rather than reciting his poetry). ‘Down beneath the blankets we’ll be millionaires...’ Genius.
Last for today.
David Gray - White Ladder
is this really twenty years old?! Yes. Sounds great, after work with a cold glass of something.
Involver - Great compilation album of D.J Sasha's progressive House tracks - Playing on Vinyl on Global Underground Records 2004 Moving a lot of air on my Focals
1997 - CD(rip)...
Melody Gardot - Worrisome Heart.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here, vinyl 2016 reissue
2007 - CD(rip)...
Harry Nilsson - A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night and More, the original covers album, with 6 added tracks.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Skeleton Tree. I think this is as good as any of Cave's previous albums. Very melancholy (not surprising given his son died around the time of the recording of this album).
1990 - CD(rip)...

I agree, Nigel. It's a really well recorded album too.

A contender for the best debut album of all time. I wonder what the studio engineers and musicians thought of it at the time. Did they realize they were there for one of the great moments in popular music?

Right now, I’m prepared to swear that Mick Ronson was better than Hendrix...
P.s. Anyone hazard a guess why my images uploaded to Imgur won’t copy and paste here anymore ?
Easy there, big fella. Better than Hendrix? But it is a stunning record. My wife was playing a "best of" Bowie mix off Tidal the other day. It served as a reminder of the depth of his catalogue. Few to rival it.
